Recipe  for  the  week !!!!!  

CARROT BURFI
       

               Ingredients  

1. One and quater cups sugar 
2. Half cup water 
3. Two tablespoons ghee 
4. Five large carrots, grated 
5. Quater cup khoya 
6. One cup cream  
7. Two tablespoons broken cashewnuts 
 
  

Note:-  
  Khoya -  condensed milk

                          Steps to follow  

1. Make a syrup with the sugar and water. 
2. Set aside 
3. Melt ghee over medium heat 
4. Add carrots 
5. Stir well, cover and cook over low heat until all the water 
has evaporated. 
6. Add Khoya, cream, cashew nuts and syrup to the cooked 
carrots. 
7. Mix well until mixture is dry and comes away from the pan 
in one mass. 
8. Pour onto a greased plate. 
9. Cool and cut into squares.
